Victory Life CHurch St. Albert address and Sunday service time

   A Message From The Pastor

Photo of Pastors Scott and Yvette DebrecenScott Debrecen is the Senior Pastor of Victory Life Church. He is also the founding Pastor of Living Word Community Church in Montreal, Quebec …a successful church plant in the heart of a highly secular society that has seen multitudes of people come to faith in Christ through the various ministries of the church.

In fulfilling God’s mandate to plant a “Life-giving, Spirit contemporary” church in Quebec, Pastors Scott & Yvette obeyed the call of God, moved to Alberta and eventually link arms with the Victory family of churches.

After working with Royal Oak Victory Church in Calgary in the capacity of Realigning Ministry Departments, the Debrecen’s now find themselves in the Heart of St. Albert with a similar mandate…to help, realign another “Life-giving, Spirit contemporary” church in St. Albert.

Pastor Scott Debrecen is licensed and ordained with Victory Churches International. While in Quebec he served as an Area Director for CFCM (Canadian Fellowship of Churches and Ministries) overseeing all CFCM Ministers and ministries within the province.

In helping her husband pastor Victory Life Church, Yvette Debrecen is passionate about the church reaching its “full potential”. Yvette’s skill in people management was one of the key reasons why the church plant in Quebec was so successful. Yvette has a keen ability to manage ministries within a local church setting ensuring that they: stay on track with the vision; have the necessary tools needed to fulfill the vision, as well as helping them solve problems as they arise. She is a loving mother, a devoted wife and truly a God-fearing woman.

Pastors Scott and Yvette’s vision for ministry here in St. Albert is clear: “To encourage every Christian to be all that God has designed them to be and to equip them to effectively reach their generation.” This vision is based on what Jesus commanded us to do in Matthew 28:18 and in Mark 16:15, “Go and make disciples of all nations.”

This is a three-fold emphasis; first, to disciple or train the Christian to be all that God has designed them to be. Second, to equip them to reach their generation and lastly, to disciple or train those who have been reached.
