Victory Life is an affiliated member of Victory Churches International, we are a non-traditional, spirit-contemporary Christian Church. Our roots are firmly planted within the Protestant Faith. We endeavour to the best of our abilities to follow the principles that can be found and reinforced by God’s Holy Book…The Bible. As a member of Victory Churches International, we are in covenant with numerous churches across Canada and around the World with Spiritual Leadership and oversight coming from our Regional and National Directors. In the Protestant Faith community there are a number of excellent models that churches follow as they strive to fulfill their vision and the mandate given to them by Christ Jesus our Saviour. There are the Programmatic Methods – focusing mainly on programs to reach their mandate; then there are the Purpose Driven Methods – concentrating on clearly defined purposes in reaching their vision; Seeker Targeted Methods – emphasizing a focused concern for the unchurched person that attend services; Presence Focused Method – Giving strong attention to the Spirit of God producing change in people; Affinity Based Method – focusing on a specific people or ethnic group. Please note: that not one of these models is better or worse than another. They all serve their purpose in helping the church fulfill its God-Given Mandate. Here at Victory Life Church rather than adopt one method, we have chosen to take something from each method, tweak it somewhat and incorporate it into who we are: “We have Purpose Driven Programs that encourage people to passionately pursue God’s presence, enabling them to reach out to all peoples around them.” |
